WHAT- Skill Sessions conducted by a position coach and his staff. All are voluntary. All equipment and BAYHAWKS tank top are required at all Skill Sessions.

PURPOSE- During Skill Sessions you will receive instruction to develop skills position specific to you. These will be concentrating on a few components each meeting with the idea of each player ample time to perform and work on each skill.

POSITION DIRECTORS

Bayhawks Add Position Directors to Program

Matt Hogan, Justin Mullen, Mike Hogan, Ray Finnegan

The BAYHAWKS have increased the number directors for Skill Sessions by adding separate attack and midfielder directors. In addition to these coaches coordinating the four Skill Sessions, held in May, these Directors will assist the team coaches during the first 6 Scheduled practices.

The new position, Position Director, will assist with individual development during practice. Additionally, he will assist with the team development as well by assisting the team staff with transition, team faceoff, teams offense/defense, etc. All four of the Position Directors will be present at all of the 6 scheduled practices, moving from field to field in a pre-schedule manner to assist the teams in their progress for the upcoming tournaments.

This adds real value to the individual player and the entire team. We are looking forward to the new strategy.

WINTER SKILL SESSIONS

BAYHAWKS will hold skill sessions during the "winter." Skill Sessions will concentrate on individual fundamental development.

Midfielders and Attackmen will concentrate on Shooting and Dodging with Stickwork.

Defenders will work on Positioning, Holds, Goal Line Defense, Sliding technique and stickwork.

Goalies will work on all aspects of goalie play.

These sessions have limited enrollment of 12 players. The Sessions in 2008 Sold Out quickly. Some of these Sessions will only be offered to BAYHAWK participants.

Discount for signing up additional sessions. We do charge for these sessions.
